“Simply put, I’d say volunteering at The Centre has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Teaching English here, among other things, has opened so many doors for meeting locals and for developing relationships in a really natural way,
which have then opened doors for all kinds of subsequent ministries. On top of that, The Centre volunteers and staff are such a diverse group of people, and it’s so cool to see how we can come together with our different backgrounds and skills and work together towards common goals.

“For me personally, coming here with minimal experience after just graduating from college and then simultaneously doing ministry and language-learning here with a pre-assembled team, all seemed a little daunting. But with my love of teaching, socializing, and just playing games, I pretty much enjoyed volunteering at The Centre right away. However, I think that over time, The Centre has become more than just a workplace for me, and rather feels more like my second home, while my students become more and more my friends.
“The ministry of our team here in Thailand is directly involved with our work through The Centre, and I personally feel like it’s a perfect flow of work and ministry, as well as a source for cultural and language acquisition. I’d highly recommend volunteering at The Centre to anyone who’s thinking about any sort of work-source that builds into a larger ministry goal! It’s a place I believe God is using to build His Kingdom and will continue to do so through all who are willing to come!”
