Passports
Valid passports will be required to enter Thailand upon arrival. Customs will validate your passport with a 30 day tourist visa. Check and recheck your passport expiration date. Should your passport expire during your expected stay, you may be denied entry.
Accommodations
We will find a few different options for you or your teams’ accommodation for the length of stay. There are places to suit all budgets and preferences.
Orientation
Getting to know the lay of the land is always a good idea. Once you arrive, we at The Centre will orient you to the city you are in and the culture of its people. We will also discuss with you about the ministry you will be doing with The Centre. We will also orient you with a basic Thai language class. More intensive language learning will be required for those coming for a year or longer. As we get close to a date of your arrival, we will send you an orientation package to assist in your preparation.
Shots! Shots! Shots!
Before you come to Thailand you and your team will need to check with your physician about what shots you will need for the region. We recommend getting at least up-to-date Tetanus shots along with Hepatitis A and B shots.

Passports & Visas
Valid passports will be required to enter Thailand upon arrival. Check and recheck your passport expiration date. Should your passport expire during your expected stay, you may be denied entry. You will need to receive a letter from The Centre and then apply for a three month or one year multi-entry non-immigrant type-O visa, depending on your length of stay. Once you are in the country, you will need to make border runs every 90 days. For Americans, we highly recommend using the Dallas Embassy to apply for your visa.
