I grew up without a mother, but I was okay with that because my father was a very good father and I had a good stepmother. However, sometimes I felt sad because I did not have a real mother, especially on Mother’s Day. I always tried to do everything really well so that I could make my dad happy and proud of me. When I got older I first wanted to study in Bangkok, because it is close to my home and I could continue to take care of my dad and my brother. I did not know why at that time, but instead of Bangkok, I ended up studying at Chiang Mai University. But now I know why I ended up coming to Chiang Mai, it is because God had a plan for my life.
While studying at CMU I learned about The Centre and began coming to The Centre to study English. I found out about God there. I felt like the things they told me about God could fulfill my life. I also found real relationships with people there. I found out about God’s love through the friendships that developed at The Centre. Before I accepted Christ I went to church many times with my cousin. While at church I began questioning if I believed that God was real or not. I decided I wanted to find out the answer to all of these questions myself so I invited Jesus into my heart to reveal Himself to me. That day I felt like someone reached out and touched me while I was riding my bike, so I stopped. As soon as I stopped a big truck pulled out quickly that would have hit me if I had not stopped! God had protected me from getting hit and this was when I really started to believe in God. Another thing that helped me believe was that every time I read the Bible before I went to sleep, I would dream about the Bible and feel really good when I woke up in the morning. This did not happen with any other book, only the Bible.
Before I accepted Jesus I had many questions, but after I came to know Him Jesus began giving me the answers I was looking for. Now I know that believing in Jesus is the only way to have eternal life! Right now P’ Wat and Tim are discipling me.
