Our Vision
“To demonstrate God’s love through our lives ,share the gospel with students and disciple new believers and members of the house as we spend time together.”
The Discipleship House becomes Our House
We have renamed the discipleship house “Our House” because we feel like this portrays our vision for the house. We want it to be a place where everyone feels comfortable hanging out and a place where the students can feel at home. We want it to be a place where we can hold special evangelical activities. Also the house belongs to God and we want it to be a place where his family can come together and share our lives.
Moving In
On February 6th, Jen moved out of the house and we spent the next week getting it ready to move in. On February 11th after church Peaw and I moved in with the help of P’Opal, Nathan, Paul, Jen, P’Boy and P’Wat. It only took one hour to move into the house and we spent about the next six hours putting everything in it’s place. Wow, we have a lot of stuff! The following week a YWAM team from Seattle came and spent hours doing yard work and cleaning. We were amazed at how different the house looked when they were finished.
Open House
On February 26th we held an Open House and invited many current and old students. We grilled together and played games. We wanted the students to know that they are welcome at Our House and we wanted them to feel comfortable hanging out there. The night was so much fun and a complete success!
